Five marks to replace the wordmark
Each mark is drawn as inline SVG on a 24 by 24 grid, single colour, no gradient. It has to survive a 16 pixel favicon, an email signature and a slide corner. Every one is shown on the site background, on white and on the deep brand green, at three sizes, with the wordmark lockup underneath.

Caliper 01 · the instrument
A pied à coulisse, the tool an engineer measures with. Caliber means measured precision, and this is the only mark that says both engineering and measurement without a word. Reads at 16 pixels because it is three strokes.
Bore 02 · the calibre itself
A barrel seen head on, which is what calibre literally measures. Two rings and a centre. The most abstract of the five and the one that scales furthest down, but it carries a firearms association you may or may not want next to a career brand.
Step 03 · the move
Three bars rising, the middle one carrying a measurement tick. It is a career move drawn as a gauge rather than as an arrow. The safest of the five: no weapon association, reads instantly, works in a signature.
Bracket C 04 · the monogram
The C of Caliber drawn as a measuring bracket, with a tick at its centre. It is a letter and a tool at the same time, which is what a monogram should do. Best of the five inside a filled square, so the best favicon.
Gauge 05 · type led
No pictogram. A measurement scale sits under the wordmark, one tick taller than the others. The mark is the typography. Cheapest to live with, hardest to make a favicon from, and the only one that never needs explaining.
